The sign over the door reads A'SchneeglockchenA', which translates in English to A'Snowdrop'.
Snowdrops are a type of flower with white blooms which hang down from
the stem. They bloom very early in the spring and are native to
Europe, including the Bavarian regions. Snowdrop is also the name of the Snow White
character in the Grimm Brothers story.
Note the details:
Delicate and laced snowflakes are ornamented on the eves of the peaked roof.
Heart-shaped cutouts and sculpted hinges accent the colorful blue shutters on the cottage.
The front door has an unusual fairytale shape.
The large chimney has wonderful hand-sculpted and hand-painted detail.
This cottage, which would be found deep in the woods, includes a large
