a Patriotic spirit in America during the Centennial of 1876 spurred the development of the Colonial Revival style of architecture. As a nod to our countryA's roots, it is based on Federal and Georgian styles, and had more a simplistic appeal compared to Queen Anne styles of the time. Growing in popularity during the first half of the 20th century, some historians claim Colonial Revival marked the end of the Victorian period and inspired the Bungalow house style.

a True to Colonial Revival style, this symmetrical house features double-hung windows trimmed with shutters, and is constructed of brick and wood siding with a gabbled roof. The dormer windows bring light into the second story windows and a pretty fanlight is above the centered front door.
