Free Shipping
City Lights is happy to offer Free Ground shipping on all orders over $48 within the continental United States. All orders under $48 will be assessed a $5.99 handling and insurance charge. The only exception to this policy is Christmas Trees. Free Shipping also applies to all Service Men Women with an APO, FPO address. We do also offer expedited shipping methods and international shipping. Please see below for more info.
Christmas Trees
Unfortunately, due to extremely high shipping costs, City Lights cannot ship trees for free. We do however heavily subsidize your shipping charges. For example, it can cost as much as $85 to ship an 8’ pre-lit tree from the West Coast to the East Coast, but we only charge $30 on all 8’ trees. Shipping charges are as follows:
3’, 4’, 5’ - $5.
6’ - $10
6.5’ - $15
7’ - $20
7.5’ - $25
8’ - $30
9’ - $75
10’ - $100
12’ - $150.
International Shipping
All shipping outside of the USA goes by United Stated Post Office Priority Mail International "Air" you are charged their exact stamp insurance charges. We add nothing for shipping handling. We cannot quote mailing charges as it depends on the size dimensional weight of the shipment after packing. Our system is that the order is charged on the day of receipt the shipping charge separately when we have the charge back from the Post Office. We cannot provide advance quotes as it would entail packaging the order sending it by truck to the Post Office for a quote.
Expedited Shipping
In a time crunch? City Lights offers expedited shipping to get you your order fast, but these shipments are at your expense. On all expedited shipments, UPS determines the price based on either the actual weight of the box, or the dimensional weight (size of the box), whichever is higher. Once your item(s) have been packaged, weighed and measured, we will have an accurate charge from UPS. This will be an additional charge on your card within 48 hours of shipment and you will be billed the exact shipping amount UPS charges us. There are no additional shipping handling charges added. We can not provide exact quotes in advance of shipping due to sheer volume, but a non-binding ballpark quote can be given by calling 800-262-5335.
3 Day Select – If your order is shipped on a Monday, you would receive it on Thursday. 2nd Day Air – If your order is shipped on a Monday, you would receive it on Wednesday. Next Day Air – If your order is shipped on a Monday, You would receive it by Noon Tuesday. Next Day Air Saver – If your order is shipped Monday, you would receive it by 6pm Tuesday.
